Rochambeau Fall/Winter 17 Runway Show

OUR FW17 COLLECTION TURNED HEADS AT NEW YORK FASHION WEEK WITH OUR PUNK-INSPIRED FALL/WINTER 2017 COLLECTION. INSPIRED BY SINGER, COMPOSER AND VISUAL ARTIST, MARK MOTHERBAUGH, THE COLLECTION FEATURED MESH TOPS, TWEED TROUSERS AND OVERALLS ACCESSORIZED WITH SAFETY PINS PAID HOMAGE TO OUR THEME, WHILE UNEXPECTED POPS OF COLORS LIKE TANGERINE AND COBALT PROVIDED A REFRESHING TWIST AMONGST AN OTHERWISE NEUTRAL COLOR PALETTE.

"I FIND IT SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING TO WORK WITH ARTISTS DIRECTLY ON SOMETHING INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING, ‘THE COLLECTION WAS INSPIRED BY SO AND SO."

— LAURENCE CHANDLER, CO-FOUNDER OF ROCHAMBEAU.

"QUITE OBVIOUSLY THIS WAS ALL A STATEMENT,

A SHARP METAPHOR FOR THE NEW SITUATION WE FIND OURSELVES IN, ONE CONTROLLED BY GROWN-UP CHILDREN."

— LEE CARTER, VOGUE

MODERN DANCERS ADORNED WITH WHITE FACE MASKS PERFORMED ALONGSIDE THE MODELS, ADDING A CHARM OF ORGANIZED CHAOS THAT COMPLIMENTED OUR GRUNGY TAKE ON HIGH-FASHION MEN'S WEAR.
